Cormorant flying (square)

Handmade square plate featuring a cormorant flying. Part of the River bird collection. Inspired by walks along the Adur, catching sight of them flying with arrow like precision. For me they hold something of the mystical and slightly gothic. I adore them.

Made from earthenware red clay and decorated with coloured slips and finished with a glossy transparent glaze.

18.5 x 18.5cm 1.5cm lip

Perfect for wall decoration and safe to eat off. Washing by hand advised.
